I just wanted to promote a great partner module that adds an option to the right hand sidebar of OpenERP so that EVERY treeview can be easily exported to XLS format in a single click.

It respects the current filters and only exports what is shown in the current page.

No XML ID fields, no cryptic field names, all related information shown in full.

WEB EXPORT VIEW - OpenERP module for that adds a link to the right toolbar for exporting current view (tree type only at the moment) to XLS. You can easily export your tree/search view "as is": just select the filters you want and click on the export link.

https://bitbucket.org/domsense/web_export_view

Note: On the page above, hover over 'get source' so you can download the archive of your choice.

Grazie tanto Simone Orsi and domsense!!

Did you refresh your screen by clicking on the OpenERP logo in the top left corner?

You need to do this to see the option.

Ray.

Hi guys, here I am :)

1st of all thanks for the feedback :)

The code has been moved to LP in order to have it published on apps. You can find it here:

http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~domsense/d ... /6.1/files

@elicoidal can you be more explicit? Also, fill free to submit any issue here https://bugs.launchpad.net/domsense-agilebg-web-addons

Thanks

if you go to Sale/reporting/Sales analysis, you cannot export the content of the analysis
Report is generated but empty (which is logical since in the analysis view you cannot really select record)

good job anyway! this is an easy way to get the printscreen that I was so much missing from the gtk

I see. We'll check and we'll try to find a solution for that.

In the meantime, may ask you to submit the bug on lp?

Other ppl may encounter the same problem...

Thanks for reporting :)

Hi,

I would like to know how to install this module to my existing openerp 6.1 installation. Do I need to download some files? Where do I paste it?

Thanks.

I've seen it apps.openerp.com, download then extract it and paste it to /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/openerp/addons. Then I click Update Module List and install this module. After wards I click refresh in the browser and click the OpenERP logo at the top left. Finally I go to Sales->Address Book->Customers but haven't seen any additional link in the right toolbar.

Is there something wrong with my procedure? Thanks.

You need to restart your openerp service.
Check your rights as well on the addons directory

I've restarted the OpenERP server. Still nothing happens. I've pasted the module using ssh as root. This is the usual procedure I'm doing when installing Aeroo Reports module.

I'm using OpenERP 6.1.1 all-in-one installer.

Great & very useful module. I wonder, why openerp does not have this feature natively ? End-users don't want to use its complicated csv import/export with many fields that they don't even understand.
The module will be perfect if it can export data in Analysis tree view (such as Sale Analysis, Purchase Analysis...)

I have installed the module, refresh the page then go to Products and select multiple items but nothing appears on the Action pane.
