http://pkrashdi.megabyet.net/wiki/index ... -platform-

For new modules on a basic example, look at this .. this is a true gem :)

this libraries should be added/updated for v6 and are not in the tutorial :

in C:\python25\Lib\site-packages\matplotlib\figure.py
line 623 and 624 comment the line with "#"
you must have :
#add_axes.__doc__ = add_axes.__doc__ % (", ".join(get_projection_names()), '%(Axes)s')
#add_axes.__doc__ = dedent(add_axes.__doc__) % artist.kwdocd
delete figure.pyo and figure.pyc

install pytz >=2009j and not version from launchpad branch wininstaller :
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~openerp/op ... endencies/
because there in no all_timezones defined in pytz\__init__.py (problem of no timezone in preferences)

uninstall egenix-mx-base-3.1.1 and install egenix-mx-base-3.1.3 to solve a problem of import :
http://www.egenix.com/products/python/mxBase/

with command easy_install in console mode, install this libraries (eventually extract folder/files from the .egg if it is not done automatically and if necessary) :
email, pywebdav, uuid, python-dateutil, xlwt, beaker, sqlalchemy

see dependencies in web\lib\populate.sh, server\setup.py

this changes are necessary to build installer for windows, see :
topic12184.html
post59035.html#p59035

another point, it will be better to download sources with bazaar to have last revision, or change the URL of download to have sources uptodate like here :
http://download.sisalp.fr/ (do not forget to download addons also).

hope this will help you to have no problem of import and less bugs.
bye

Hello,

Tried to set up development environment under windows (XP Professional), but got stuck where I had to install all the dependencies I dowloaded from http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~openerp/openerp/win-installer-trunk/files/head%3A/dependencies/. When I try to execute any of the .exe's provied, all I got was a "Bad Command or file name". What am I doing wrong ?

Thanks in advance,
Roland
